Burger was so good I literally got tears in my eyes.
If you want a lump of delicious greasy meat that makes you long for the days when everyone was blissfully unaware of arterial blockage, this is the place.
Hot food, big portions, friendly people. The burger and toasted bun were freshly prepared, as were the hand-cut fries. The chocolate milkshakes were different; they have the blended ice chunks so it's more textured than creamy, but I liked my milkshake.
I'll be back next time I'm going through Russellville, AR, especially as it's only a second from the interstate. -

I was warned by the most recent reviewer in April. While she gave this place a solid 5 stars, she did warn of arterial blockage. We'd had a few drinks before our little crew of four fine ladies decided we needed some burgers and fries to accompany the belly booze. Our first disappointment was the lack of onion rings. The second disappointment was the lack of American cheese (yes, yes, I'll give you that perhaps this isn't real cheese but please leave your judgment at the door).
Let me start by saying I can see where the high marks come from. Going down, that chocolate milkshake was real good. Smooth. Chocolately. Just what I want from such a dairy delicacy. The burger (for me, with cheddar, bacon, mayo, lettuce, and tomato) was also good. It wasn't as greasy as I was anticipating (thankfully). Though I could only finish about half of it. The fries. Gross. No thanks. They were seasoned well enough but they were limp. No one wants anything limp, tbh. I also wish we'd been given the heads up that the fry portion was huge. We each ordered one and could have easily gotten away with two instead of four. A waste of food and money.
Now, here's where things get worse...CJs gave one of our crew severe heartburn and I ended up with food poisoning! A solid two days of illness was less than pleasant. Let me tell you folks, flying with food poisoning makes you miss the ol' days of being able to stand upright and makes you think that you might not be too mad if the plane were to crash.
Maybe others have stronger stomachs and arteries asking to be clogged, but my innards weren't prepared for the likes of CJs. Stomachs and intestines beware. -

Best burger, freshly made. Plenty of toppings for you to customize your burger. And the fries are great.
Service is always great. The 50's car motif is very appropriate.
Very simple menu but customization. -

So we saw this on a billboard along the highway. We thought why not. The menu is pretty simple but a burger and fries with no cheese at a little over $8 is a bit high. The burger is 1/3 pound and way more than I could eat. The burger was juicy and tasty and the toppings were all fresh. They toast the bun and make everything to order. The fries are fresh cut and there are plenty. The fries could have been cooked a little longer they were kinda hard on the inside. Over all a great burger.

Excellent old school burger joint--all they do is burgers, fries and shakes. The burger was excellent-- seasoned with salt and pepper on a toasted bun. The crust on the burgers exterior is what made it superior . Hubby and son got doubles but I'm glad I only got a single as the 1/3 lb patty was very generous. The fries were so amazing--we watched them cutting fresh potatoes when we arrived. All the meat prepared for cooking was in a glass case in plain sight.
Neat place--hearing there is one in Fayetteville so I will return.
